Two-person exhibition. Larry Hampton's small oil portraits show the influence of painters such as Edgar Degas, Diego Velasquez and John Singer Sargent. Self-taught artist Sylvester McKissick's genre style paintings reflect the experiences of everyday life, combining realistic themes with bold use of color and line.
